										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The repairable anode grounding device developed by KM GROUP, using conductive polymers with reduced resistance, is applied in electrochemical cathodic protection of metal structures and facilities, tanks, and steel pipelines of various types.</p>
<p>Structurally, the polymer anode grounding device consists of an electrode made of polymers resistant to oil, petroleum products, anode dissolution products, and gases, with a low specific electrical resistance not exceeding 1.0 Ω·m, containing a tinned flexible copper conductor placed along the central axis. The ends of the electrode are connected to a KGN-KHL EHZ-U cable through a contact assembly that includes a sealing element and polyolefin heat-shrink sleeves resistant to ultraviolet radiation and aggressive environmental conditions.</p>
<p><b>Improved operational reliability</b> of the polymer anode grounding device within cathodic protection systems for buried metal structures is achieved through the use of electrodes with low specific electrical resistance, providing exponential distribution of protective current across the entire surface of the active element.</p>
<p><b>Repairability</b> of the polymer anode grounding device is ensured by the use of an installation casing filled with conductive gel.</p>
<p>Two installation configurations of the repairable anode grounding device are available: horizontal and vertical.</p>
<p>In addition to enhanced performance characteristics, the service life is extended to not less than 50 years.</p>
<p>The project for establishing the production of repairable anode grounding devices using conductive polymers with reduced resistance was implemented with the support of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere (Innovation Support Fund), grant agreement No. 759ГКС4/70981 dated 17.11.2021.</p>

<h3>Technical description</h3>
<p>A magnetite grounding device is a specialized unit containing a magnetite electrode inside a thin galvanized steel shell. KMA coke-mineral backfill fills the remaining internal space. The housing ensures uniform distribution of the backfill around the electrode and simplifies transportation and installation. The shell dissolves shortly after placement in soil. To facilitate installation, the upper part of the design is equipped with a bracket.</p>
