										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The terminal cabinet of the KMG trademark, manufactured in accordance with TU 27.12.31-010-19394148-2018 (hereinafter “KSh.KMG”, “the product”), is intended for use in cathodic protection systems (CP), as well as for:</p>
<ul>
<li>connecting the drainage cable of the protected structure and cathodic protection stations (CP stations) with the connected anode grounding devices;</li>
<li>distribution and measurement of anode grounding device currents;</li>
<li>connection of corrosion rate indicator plate units (BPI), reference electrodes, PKM.KMG corrosion monitoring subsystems, and other devices.</li>
</ul>
<p>KSh.KMG is manufactured in accordance with TU 27.12.31-010-19394148-2019 “Corrosion monitoring subsystem PKM.KMG with additional devices: drainage protection station SDZ.KMG, cathodic protection station SKZ.KMG, automatic reserve switching unit AVR.KMG, block-complete CP devices BKU.EHZ.KMG, high-voltage input UKZV.KMG, terminal cabinet KSh.KMG”.</p>
<p>KSh.KMG complies with protection class 01 for personnel electric shock safety according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/wbdbLx-ffMGUgQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 12.2.007.0-75</a> and is designed for continuous operation.</p>
<p>The design of KSh.KMG ensures operation when installed:</p>
<ul>
<li>outdoors (location category 1 according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/eSFLlo-Z41zAlA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 15150</a>);</li>
<li>under a canopy or indoors (location category 2 according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/eSFLlo-Z41zAlA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 15150</a>).</li>
</ul>
<p>KSh.KMG, depending on the version, complies with climatic categories U, UHL or HL with location categories 1 or 2 according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/eSFLlo-Z41zAlA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 15150</a> and maintains its parameters under external climatic conditions:</p>
<ul>
<li>for climatic category U – temperatures from −45 °C to +40 °C;</li>
<li>for climatic category UHL or HL – temperatures from −60 °C to +40 °C;</li>
<li>relative humidity up to 98 % at 25 °C;</li>
<li>atmospheric pressure from 86.6 to 106.7 kPa (650–800 mmHg);</li>
<li>operation in atmospheres of types I–III.</li>
</ul>
<p>Enclosure protection rating depends on configuration:</p>
<ul>
<li>not lower than IP34 according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/C6msLMKLrRcrEg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 14254-96</a> — for units with ventilation grilles;</li>
<li>not lower than IP65 according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/C6msLMKLrRcrEg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 14254-96</a> — for units without ventilation grilles.</li>

<p>Installation and operation must be carried out in accordance with approved and current regulatory, technical, and design documentation on cathodic protection and grounding systems.</p>
<p>The service life of KSh.KMG is at least 20 years.</p>

<p>The cabinet supports cable termination with ring-type cable lugs:</p>
<ul>
<li>from the protected structure to the negative terminal and from the CP station to the positive terminal, a cable with a cross-section of 35 mm² with tinned copper lugs TML (TML-35-8) according to <a href="https://disk.yandex.ru/i/YpdTGdgQgjcNfQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GOST 7386-80</a> is recommended;</li>
<li>from anodes, a cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² with TML-16-8 lugs is recommended;</li>

<h2>Installation and operation</h2>
<p>Delivery should be performed in the manufacturer’s packaging.</p>
<p>Unpacking must be performed using tools that prevent damage and preserve marking. The cabinet must be connected according to the design documentation, KSh.KMG wiring diagram, and terminal marking.</p>
<p>Before installation and commissioning, perform an external inspection and verify completeness.</p>
<p>Cable connections must be made according to the wiring diagram and terminal marking.</p>
<p>The circuit diagrams are standard for all cabinet modifications depending on the customer’s technical specification (number of anodes, measurement circuits from reference electrodes, potential sensors, and corrosion rate sensors).</p>
<p>To measure the channel current, a DC measuring device designed to operate with a 75 mV shunt must be connected to the measurement terminals (ZMZ).</p>
<p>The current I (A) through the shunt is calculated as:</p>
<p>I = U × I<sub>sh</sub> / U<sub>sh</sub>,</p>
<p>where U is the measured voltage (mV),<br />I<sub>sh</sub> is the nominal shunt current (A),<br />U<sub>sh</sub> = 75 mV is the nominal shunt voltage.</p>
<p>The cabinet design ensures continuous operation for 6 months without maintenance. During preventive maintenance, the tightness of terminal screw connections must be checked and tightened if necessary.</p>

<p>The manufacturer guarantees compliance of the products with technical requirements provided that transportation, storage, and operation conditions are observed.</p>

<p>The product must be stored indoors free from aggressive substances causing corrosion.</p>
