<p>In the standard configuration, the cable lead length is 2 m. The protective casing prevents backfill loss during storage. It shields the backfill from adverse impacts and helps ensure uniform distribution along the active element.</p>
<p>Once the PAZ.KMG.M magnetite anode grounding device, which can be ordered from us, is ready for operation and placed in soil, the protective casing dissolves rapidly, allowing the backfill to disperse and begin interacting with the surrounding medium to provide effective corrosion protection.</p>

<h3>Technical description</h3>
<p>A magnetite grounding device is a specialized unit containing a magnetite electrode inside a thin galvanized steel shell. KMA coke-mineral backfill fills the remaining internal space. The housing ensures uniform distribution of the backfill around the electrode and simplifies transportation and installation. The shell dissolves shortly after placement in soil. To facilitate installation, the upper part of the design is equipped with a bracket.</p>
<p>In the standard configuration, the connection cable of PAZ.KMG.M magnetite surface anode grounding devices has a length of 200 cm. The cathodic protection design determines the number of grounding devices to be installed and their spacing.</p>
<p>The anode cable is connected to the pipeline using thermite welding or cable clamps. Cable joints are insulated using heat-shrink sleeves.</p>

<p>The venting of gases generated during operation of GAZ.KMG.F magnetite deep anode grounders is managed using a gas outlet tube. Together with the cable system, it is brought to the surface. The gas outlet tube is perforated along its length and manufactured to order, with one tube per working element installed in a single borehole.</p>
<p>The customer determines the number and components of the deep grounding system, specifying how many blocks will be installed and the length of connection cables and drainage tubes. The equipment is selected according to the prepared cathodic protection project.</p>
<p>The complete grounders reach operational mode and low current dispersion resistance in minimal time. The equipment does not require additional modifications, significantly simplifying installation of the anode grounders.</p>

<p>The cable from each working element is made of KGN-XL EHZ-U cable, crimped with a cable terminal, and brought to the surface. The casing used for the anode grounder prevents the activator from spilling during storage, evenly distributes the fill along the working element, ensures reliability during transportation and installation, and promotes the distribution of anode current from the working element surface. When used directly in soil, the casing material dissolves quickly. The mechanical strength of the bandage and fastening components (tensile strength) during assembly of complete deep anode grounders into a column is at least 35 kN. The calculated number of anode grounders (AG) per column (at maximum allowable working element weight) is at least 33 units; if necessary, the bandage design can be reinforced to increase the number of AGs in the column (upon request).</p>
