										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ECSM-P-VE can be purchased in several modifications. They are intended for measurements on pipelines for various purposes. Using reference electrodes allows determining the level of metal corrosion protection.</p>
<p>The device is designed for underground work. All measurements are performed on structures located below ground level. ECS must be installed above the underground object and placed below the soil freezing level. For measurements in soft soils, the package includes a tip. ECSM-P-VE for hard soils should be ordered with a plug-type tip.</p>
<p>Inside the housing, there is a copper electrode. It is placed in copper sulfate. The measuring element itself is fixed on an aluminum tube. For convenient handling, the tube has a rubberized layer. The electrode cable is led to a terminal. Two types of ECS are available for sale:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1">ECS-1.2 – designed for intensive work and equipped with a full-size handle;</li>
<li aria-level="1">ECS-0.4 – has a shortened handle and is used as a stationary measuring device.</li>
</ul>
<p>ECSM-P-VE is additionally equipped with an auxiliary electrode (VE). The VE is made of steel in the form of a ring. The additional electrode is located on the side of the unit housing. The price of ECSM-P-VE depends on the selected model and additional components.</p>
<p>Each ECS wire has terminals for connection and labeling plates. This significantly simplifies operation and maintenance of the device. Copper sulfate electrodes can be used at temperatures from -5°C to +45°C.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Portable copper sulfate ECSM-P electrodes must be purchased for measurements on structures made of various metals. The device is intended for checking the level of protection of underground objects.</p>
<p>ECS are used to monitor the condition of pipelines and other metallic structures located below ground level. ECSM-P can be ordered to assess the cathodic protection of pipelines for various purposes. The ECS can be equipped with an auxiliary electrode (VE), and the electrode contact part is made of different materials.</p>
<p>The allowable air temperature for using ECS is minimum 0°C, maximum +50°C. At 100% humidity, the ambient temperature should be approximately +35°C. The design of the ECS depends on the modification and can be supplemented with an installation container.</p>
<p>The price of ECSM-P depends on the selected wire length. This parameter is coordinated with the customer. Installation of portable ECS is performed above the metallic object. For accurate data, the electrode must be placed below the soil freezing level.</p>

<p>Reference electrodes play a key role in cathodic protection systems designed to prevent corrosion of underground steel pipelines and structures.</p>
<p>Their application is based on the ability to measure polarization and total potentials, which makes it possible to effectively monitor and maintain optimal conditions of electrochemical interaction.</p>
<p>PES-01-(K)-G-VE portable copper sulfate reference electrodes with an auxiliary electrode provide accurate potential data on corrosion-prone facilities (oil and gas pipelines), which is critical for assessing the effectiveness of the protection system.</p>
<p>Regular monitoring of polarization potential helps prevent undesirable electrochemical reactions, contributing to the preservation of the integrity of steel pipeline lines and underground facilities.</p>
<p>Reference electrodes are an integral part of infrastructure. Their use helps extend service life and increase the efficiency and reliability of transport systems and structures under underground operating conditions.</p>
<p>Our company offers PES-01-(K)-G-VE portable copper sulfate reference electrodes with an auxiliary electrode, non-polarizable and long-life, specifically designed for use in soil at depths exceeding the soil freezing level. The conductors can be routed to a cover or to a test point (KIP).</p>
<h3>Advantages</h3>
<p>PES-01-(K)-G-VE portable copper sulfate reference electrodes with an auxiliary electrode are ready for use and do not require additional preparation or electrolyte filling.</p>
<p>The reference electrode is placed in a durable container made of material resistant to mechanical damage.</p>
<p>Efficiency is achieved through capillary channels of the outer ceramic membrane with standardized porosity, through which electrolytic contact is formed. This ensures stable operation over a long period.</p>
<p>The cable length is not regulated and can be any. The customer determines the required cable length for the facility.</p>
<p>The advantage of using a bentonite chamber in PES-01-(K)-G-VE portable copper sulfate reference electrodes with an auxiliary electrode is the prevention of mutual diffusion of electrolyte between the electrode and the soil. This ensures stability and efficiency over long-term operation.</p>
<p>One of the important parameters is spreading resistance, which is at least 5 kΩ.</p>
<p>The potential relative to a laboratory silver/silver chloride reference electrode is 100±20 mV, indicating the accuracy and reliability of measurements performed using this system.</p>
<p>The devices operate for up to 30 years or more.</p>
<p>The weight of the device, excluding cable outlets, does not exceed 2.5 kg, which makes it convenient and cost-effective for transportation and installation.</p>

<p>A portable copper sulfate reference electrode is used in cathodic protection systems on steel and metal underwater structures and those located underground. Copper sulfate reference electrodes are used to measure potentials on oil, gas, fuel, and other pipeline systems.</p>
<p>Copper sulfate reference electrodes are designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of:</p>
<p>&#8211; GOST R 9.605-2021 “Unified system of corrosion and aging protection. Cathodic protection. Reference electrodes. General technical specifications”;</p>
<p>&#8211; TU 28.99.39.190-019-19394148-2019 “Copper sulfate reference electrodes ESM.KMG. Technical specifications”.</p>
<p>The quality of ESM is confirmed by certificates of conformity of voluntary certification systems:</p>
<p>&#8211; Certificate of conformity (Intergazsert voluntary certification system) No. OGRN4.RU.1104.B02528 (valid from 24.07.2023 to 23.07.2026), to the requirements of GOST R 9.605-2021, for the products “Stationary long-life copper sulfate reference electrodes of types ESMC.KMG-1, ESMC.KMG-2, ESMC.KMG-M, and portable type ESMP.KMG. Products manufactured in accordance with TU 28.99.39.190-019-19394148-2019 with Amendment No. 1 ‘Copper sulfate reference electrodes ESM.KMG’. Serial production.”;</p>
<p>&#8211; Certificate of conformity No. ROSS RU.04RID0.OSP06.S00217 (valid from 05.08.2022 to 04.08.2025), to the requirements of GOST 9.602, GOST R 51164, TU 28.99.39.190-019-19394148-2019, for the products “Copper sulfate reference electrodes ESM.KMG: stationary long-life copper sulfate reference electrodes of types ESMC.KMG and portable copper sulfate reference electrodes of type ESMP.KMG”.</p>
<p>The ESMSP version corresponds to placement category 5 according to GOST 15150 under operating ambient temperatures from minus 5 °C to plus 45 °C and relative humidity up to 100% (at an ambient temperature of 35 °C). When the ambient temperature decreases to minus 20 °C, the reference electrodes do not fail irreversibly, and after the temperature returns to the operating range, the reference electrodes restore their operability.</p>
<p>The design of the portable reference electrode ESMP.KMG is shown in the figure.<br />

<p>The copper sulfate reference electrode is equipped with a proprietary cable manufactured in accordance with TU. It has the following advantages:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1">increased strength;</li>
<li aria-level="1">long service life;</li>
<li aria-level="1">non-flammability;</li>
<li aria-level="1">high resistance to the effects of various solutions and dissolution products.</li>
</ul>
<p>Copper sulfate reference electrodes are equipped with a cable. Its cross-section is 0.75 mm2, the current-carrying conductor is stranded and made of copper. Class according to GOST 22483 – 2 and 3 of the current-carrying conductor of the copper sulfate non-polarizable electrode for stationary and portable ESMC copper sulfate reference electrodes, respectively.</p>
<h3>Advantages of ESMC.KMG</h3>
<p>Portable and stationary copper sulfate ESMC reference electrodes are equipped with a housing resistant to impacts and damage. This ensures a long service life of the devices. Portable and stationary copper sulfate reference electrodes can be supplied complete with connecting cables equipped with crimp lugs. When ordering a copper sulfate reference electrode, the customer does not need to worry about the integrity of the device. Wooden packaging is used for delivery, which eliminates damage during transportation, shipment, and storage. Portable reference electrodes can be supplied in both stationary and portable versions. Each batch of products is individually packaged. In addition, the advantages of non-polarizable reference electrodes include:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1">electrolyte based on a saturated copper solution;</li>
<li aria-level="1">use of a solid-state filler in a two-chamber design;</li>
<li aria-level="1">tightness of the copper sulfate reference electrode ESMC achieved by using a special gel;</li>
<li aria-level="1">long service life due to the increased volume of filler compared to models of other manufacturers;</li>
<li aria-level="1">the copper sulfate non-polarizable reference electrode is fully ready for operation and does not require preliminary preparation.</li>
</ul>
<p>Copper sulfate reference electrodes are completely manufactured using in-house equipment (molds with quality control).</p>

<p>The design of PTI представляет собой a pipe made of non-combustible, weather-resistant and impact-resistant mineral-filled plastic with a cover.</p>
<p>PTI withstands mechanical loads up to 150 kN (15000 kgf), and the presence of bright red coloring facilitates visual identification of the device in the field.</p>
<p>Manufactured in climatic version “UHL1” in accordance with GOST 15150.</p>
