Main tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Switching power circuits \u2014 supplying and distributing cathodic protection current.<\/li>\n<li>System parameter control \u2014 measuring currents, voltages, and potentials.<\/li>\n<li>Pipeline condition monitoring \u2014 connecting measuring instruments for operational diagnostics.<\/li>\n<li>Operational safety \u2014 preventing accidents and ensuring stable corrosion protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Installation and standards<\/h3>\n<p>Installation of ICP units is carried out in accordance with the requirements of:<br \/>\nGOST R 51164, RD-33.040.99-KTN-210-10, RD-91.020.00-KTN-234-10, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Instrumentation and control posts are installed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At every kilometer of the pipeline route.<\/li>\n<li>In zones affected by stray currents and aggressive soils.<\/li>\n<li>At a distance of three pipe diameters from CP installations.<\/li>\n<li>Near valve sites and at the boundaries of protection zones.<\/li>\n<li>One on each bank of underwater crossings; if the water protection zone width exceeds 500 m \u2014 two on both sides.<\/li>\n<li>At intersections with other utilities, roads, and engineering structures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Design and configuration<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Triangular post made of frost- and fire-resistant composite material (180 mm side).<\/li>\n<li>Signal cap with reflective
