ECSM‑C2 stationary double‑membrane copper sulfate reference electrodes

Description

Copper sulfate ECSM-C2 must be purchased for performing measurement and control operations on underground metal structures. Using ECS allows determining the level of protection of pipelines and other structures against corrosion. The double-membrane ECS model is intended for installation on the soil surface above the inspected structure. The device must be placed below the soil freezing level.

Before ordering ECSM-C2, its design and operational features must be determined. The unit consists of two housings. Direct contact with the soil is created and maintained by the outer housing, which is made of durable ceramic. Inside it, there is a moisture-retaining bentonite filler. The inner housing is filled with copper sulfate. The measuring electrode is made of pure copper and immersed in the copper sulfate of the inner housing.

Depending on the modification, the ECS housing may include an auxiliary electrode (VE). It is installed in the lower part of the unit housing. Each cable is equipped with terminals for connecting the measuring device to KIP. The connecting cables are labeled with plates containing necessary information, which simplifies connection, operation, and maintenance of the copper sulfate ECS.

Reference electrodes come with cables of a specified length. When ordering, the required parameter can be selected, and ECS with longer cables can be purchased. The price of ECSM-C2 depends on additional components and agreed specifications. The model fully complies with GOST standards and has climatic category 5.
