Copper sulfate ECS model ECSM-C2-VE must be purchased for performing measurements on underground metal structures. They are used to identify corrosion changes on objects such as pipelines and steel structures. The device allows timely detection of areas with developed corrosion.
The measuring device consists of two housings – outer and inner. The outer housing is made of durable ceramic, resistant to moderate damage and loads. The inner housing is filled with copper sulfate, in which a spiral-shaped electrode made of pure copper is immersed. The space between the housings is filled with a moisture-retaining bentonite-based material.
ECSM-C2-VE copper sulfate stationary double-membrane reference electrodes with auxiliary electrode can be ordered in two modifications. The ECSM-C2-VE model is equipped with an auxiliary electrode located in the lower part of the housing with its own terminal. The measuring device is installed in the ground above the inspected object and placed below the soil freezing level. The cables are connected via terminals to the control measurement point or can be led to a cable mat.
Reference electrodes are supplied with cables of standard length. At the customer’s request, this parameter can be increased. The final price of ECSM-C2-VE depends on the selected model modification and additional components. Each cable of the device is equipped with information labels and terminals, which facilitates connection, operation, and maintenance of the unit.
