Description
TVP units are intended to mark:
- main pipelines in the field;
- protection zones of main pipelines, pipeline bends, and intersections with other pipelines and utilities;
- unauthorized or unprepared crossings over main pipelines, shallow burial locations of main pipelines (U-shaped marker);
- pipeline crossings with highways of categories I–V, field and forest roads, railway tracks, and water obstacles;
- above-ground main pipelines, industrial site pipelines, and overhead crossings;
- fire safety systems and routes of utility pipelines, industrial and domestic sewage lines, as well as water pipelines, heat pipelines, etc.
Information signs are used to designate main pipeline facilities and to indicate kilometer points, boundary marks, and other pipeline-related markers.
