Instrumentation and Control Post (ICP) Type 7 is designed for switching power and measuring circuits, as well as for monitoring the operating parameters of cathodic protection systems. It is used in conjunction with joint protection units, devices for protecting pipelines from induced alternating currents, as well as corrosion monitoring equipment, including telemetry and remote control systems.

Description

Instrumentation and Control Posts (ICP) must be purchased to supplement cathodic protection (CP) systems and to carry out measurement work for monitoring the protection of metal structures against corrosion. They are designed for use in soils of temperate and cold climates in accordance with GOST standards.

In the standard version, the post length is 200 cm and can be changed at the customer’s request. It is possible to order ICPs of greater length, as предусмотрено by the manufacturer. The device is installed directly into the ground at the location of the inspected object. The post may have one or two windows with terminal panels. The model with two terminal panel windows is intended for connecting additional equipment.

The price of ICP Type 7 depends on the specifics of the order, the availability of optional features, and the desired post length. In manufacturing the device, a material is used that is non-combustible and resistant to extremely low ambient temperatures. The housing is equipped with information markings and a control panel for connecting outgoing cables. To prevent unauthorized dismantling, the manufacturer provides an anti-vandal anchoring system.

The upper part of the post is equipped with a signal cap with reflective elements. The panel with terminals and clamps is located at the top of the post and has a lockable cover. Power and terminal boards are provided for connecting additional equipment. The cable is routed through a window located at the bottom of the post housing. The recommended installation depth in the ground is 70 cm and must be marked on the information window of the device.

Product Specifications

The instrumentation and control post has a square cross-section. By agreement with the customer, it can be supplemented with an agrotechnical coating. Delivery of the ICP and additional components is discussed at the order formation stage. The product is supplied in individual and group packaging of 3 units.
