Description

The Diode-Resistor Block (DRB) is a current control device with unidirectional conductivity and minimal internal voltage drop, providing smooth, stepwise, or electronic regulation (variants: BSZD, BSZP, BSZE). The design may include from 1 to 6 channels, with the rated current of each channel ranging from 1 to 50 A.


Product configuration:

  • Reinforced square-section post (type P01 or P02) made of durable composite material, resistant to temperatures down to –60 °C and mechanical loads up to 5 kN.

  • Diode-resistor block (optional module).

  • Terminal panel for connecting cables and I&C equipment.

  • Hinged compartment covers with load capacity up to 10 kg.

  • Cable entry opening.

  • Anti-vandal anchoring device for fixing the I&C unit in the ground.

  • Protective agro-technical coating to prevent vegetation growth around the post.


Application:

The I&C unit with DRB is used for connecting sacrificial anode protection systems and for regulating the current of cathodic protection units. It provides monitoring and distribution of protective current between underground structures. The solution effectively eliminates mutual potential interference and maintains the optimal protective potential to prevent corrosion.
