Description
- The sign is installed to reference the gas pipeline to the terrain, indicate the protection zone, identify the pipeline, show the location of its axis, and provide the contact number of the Operational Unit Branch. It is placed at pipeline bends, underwater crossings, and at intersections with roads and other utilities.
- The sign is installed at the boundaries of the right-of-way where the pipeline intersects highways, railways, and bodies of water, at overhead crossings of the pipeline over natural and artificial obstacles (on both sides), as well as at entry and exit points of the pipeline from compressor station, gas distribution station, and gas metering station sites, at a distance of 50 m from the fence.
- The sign is installed along the pipeline route to define the service area boundaries of the pipeline between Operational Unit Branches and Operational Units.
