Description
Copper sulfate reference electrodes can be purchased to perform measurements on various types of pipelines and other structures. Stationary reference electrodes are used to measure the degree of protection of metal structures against corrosion.
The MES-02-(P-K)-G-VE model has its own features – it is a double-housing device. The outer ceramic housing is intended to create and maintain electrolytic contact during measurements. The porous ceramic is sufficiently strong and capable of withstanding moderate mechanical воздействия. Inside it there is a measuring module. This is the second housing filled with copper sulfate. The reference electrode is located in it. The space between the housings is filled with a moisture-retaining substance.
To measure the polarization potential, the device is equipped with an auxiliary electrode. The VE is located in the lower part of the housing and is connected to terminals. Marked cables are routed from the main and auxiliary electrodes. The information tags are intended for more convenient operation and maintenance of the reference electrodes. Stationary copper sulfate reference electrodes with an auxiliary electrode (VE) can be ordered for performing measurements in arid regions.
The double-housing reference electrode includes in its design:
- measuring module;
- outer and inner housings;
- moisture-retaining filling;
- auxiliary electrode and cable;
- heat-shrink sleeve.
The device can be operated at temperatures from 0 to +55 degrees Celsius.
Product characteristics
The copper sulfate reference electrode is supplied with cable outlets with a length of at least 2 meters. When placing an order, the required cable length can be specified. The final price of the product depends on this parameter.
| Parameters | Value |
| Weight, kg | 4.2 |
| Minimum cable length, m | 2 |
| Service life, years | 30 |
| Resistance, kΩ | 5 |
| Potential, mV | 100 |
