We offer ferrosilicon anode grounding devices for surface grounding of the PAZ.KMG.F type, used in engineering systems designed to reduce electrochemical corrosion and ensure reliable grounding of underground structures. The active electrodes consist of a metallic housing (galvanized sheet steel) filled with KMA.KMG coke-mineral backfill with high electrical conductivity. The housing is installed in soil and connected to the system requiring grounding.
Ferrosilicon anode grounding devices of the PAZ.KMG.F type are available with a 2-m cable lead. A key feature is the protective casing, which keeps the backfill inside the grounding device. The backfill containing the activator is evenly distributed along the entire length of the active element.
Uniform and controlled distribution of the backfill ensures effective operation of the anode grounding device and its surface grounding function.
The casing facilitates safe transportation and installation of ferrosilicon anode grounding devices of the PAZ.KMG.F type. It also contributes to the distribution of anode current from the surface of the active element. The design includes a mounting handle.
Application
Complete ferrosilicon anode grounding devices of the PAZ.KMG.F type are used in highly aggressive soils. They exhibit high chemical resistance and corrosion resistance, allowing them to maintain their properties over extended periods. They are suitable for installations requiring durability and operational stability.
During the operation of deep anode grounding systems, electrochemical reactions occur and lead to gas formation. To prevent gas accumulation and maintain operability of the element, gas removal must be ensured.
A gas vent tube is used for this purpose. It is manufactured from material resistant to reaction products of anode dissolution and to harsh operating conditions, including groundwater, brines, and weak acidic or alkaline solutions.
The customer’s technical specification determines the required number of active electrodes in the column, as well as the length of the cable and the gas vent tube.
