Description
ICP TYPE 5 (instrumentation and control posts) are designed for installation in cathodic protection systems for underground pipelines and other utilities. They are used to monitor the operation of CP systems and regulate their parameters.
ICP TYPE 5 is a post consisting of three faces with an equilateral triangular cross-section. The width of one face is 130 mm. Informational inscriptions are applied on all three faces.
The product is made of a special polymer resistant to combustion, atmospheric precipitation, and high and low temperatures.
At the top of the housing there is a signal cap with a reflective element. A version with a kilometer marker can also be ordered.
A panel with contact terminals for connecting measuring devices is installed on the post. It is equipped with a cover and locked with a key.
In the lower (underground) part there is an opening for cable line entry.
The post is equipped with an anti-vandal anchoring protection system that prevents unauthorized removal from the ground. The post must be buried in the soil to a depth of more than 0.7 m. A special mark is applied on the faces.
