Description
Instrumentation and Control Posts (ICP) must be purchased to perform work on protecting underground utilities from corrosion. ICPs are used for monitoring gas pipelines laid in temperate and moderately cold climates in accordance with GOST requirements.
ICP Type 6 is a post with three faces, each 18 cm wide. Its installation involves embedding the unit directly above the inspected facility. The ICP is made of a material resistant to fire and frost. The housing is marked with the information required for operation.
The ICP can be ordered with a signal cap and a kilometer marker sign. Unauthorized dismantling is prevented by a special device. For connection to cathodic protection (CP), a control panel with terminals and clamps is located at the top of the housing. It is equipped with a cover that can be locked. Measuring equipment is connected to boards with power terminals.
Cable routing is carried out through a technological opening located at the bottom of the unit. The burial depth of the ICP in the ground must be at least 70 cm. This parameter is indicated in a special window on the post. The price of the ICP Type 6 depends on the optional configuration selected by the customer.
