Description
High-quality materials are used in the production of Instrumentation and Control Posts (ICP), which ensure:
- high mechanical strength in cathodic protection (CP) systems;
- resistance to combustion and ultraviolet radiation;
- long service life (at least 20 years);
- use of the products in any climatic zones.
Advantages of ICP.KMG instrumentation and control posts manufactured by KM GROUP:
- Mechanical strength. The unique technology for reinforcing (armoring) the corners developed by our specialists ensures high resistance of the post to bending under a load of at least 5.0 kN (500 kgf), making our product well suited for the markets of Kazakhstan and CIS countries.
- Resistance to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Thanks to a specially developed composition of unplasticized polycomposite, the ICP not only has exceptional mechanical strength but also does not change its color under UV exposure throughout its entire service life of at least 20 years.
- Application of inscriptions using full-color UV-resistant printing. Informational markings are applied with industrial printer inks and cured by ultraviolet radiation, which significantly increases light fastness and resistance to fading (UV exposure). The use of this technology, as well as the ability to apply any information under factory conditions, confirms the uniqueness of ICP.KMG on the market. The color of the inscriptions does not change (does not fade) under solar radiation (UV exposure).
- Hinged cover (fixed in horizontal position). The unique system developed by our specialists for fixing the cover in a horizontal position allows it to withstand a load of up to 10 kgf (enabling placement of measuring equipment on it).
- IP34 rating. Provides protection of the board with power and measuring contacts, as well as additional equipment installed inside the ICP, from intense external influences such as dust and moisture.
- Frost resistance. Down to -60 °C, heat resistance up to +60 °C, and no color change of the post (no fading) throughout the entire service life of at least 20 years.
- Terminal panel. The markings are made by engraving (do not require periodic maintenance or renewal, unlike typical markings made with stencils and paint, number stickers, or printing).
- Reinforced fastening. The use of reinforced additional fastening of the terminal panel to the post ensures resistance to applied forces (loads) of at least 1 kN (100 kgf).
- No sharp corners. The complete absence of sharp corners on the post helps protect both the post and plates from mechanical impacts and also reduces the risk of injury to wildlife (bear, elk, deer, etc.).
