Description
KM GROUP offers certified instrumentation and control posts (ICP) TYPE 2. They are intended for monitoring the condition and regulating the operation of cathodic protection (CP) systems installed on underground structures. They are also used to mark the route of pipelines.
The ICP TYPE 2 design is made in the form of a four-sided post with equal faces. The width of each face is 200 mm. Markings and warning inscriptions made with abrasion-resistant paint are applied to the faces. The post is installed directly into the ground above pipelines and other underground structures. The material used for ICP TYPE 2 is a high-strength polymer that is non-combustible and resistant to temperature fluctuations, wind, and precipitation.
A signal cap is installed at the top of the post. Optionally, the product can be supplied with a kilometer marker.
A terminal panel for connecting measuring devices is located at the top. It is protected by a cover with a lock.
A technological opening is provided at the bottom of the post for cable entry.
The post is equipped with an anti-vandal protection system. An anchoring device is fixed in the lower part of ICP TYPE 2, preventing the post from being freely pulled out of the ground.
For long-term and safe operation, it is recommended to embed the post into the ground to a depth of 0.7 m or more. The minimum installation level is marked on the product body.
