Description
UKT is used in cathodic and sacrificial protection systems for underground metal structures against electrochemical corrosion.
Purpose: monitoring the currents of anode groundbeds, sacrificial anodes, and electrical jumpers on a per-channel basis.
The UKT board is made of fiberglass laminate, on which the elements of the electrical circuit are mounted.
Connection of conductors from anode groundbeds to the positive terminal of the cathodic protection station is carried out through the power block of the current monitoring device.
The device is produced in two versions:
- a power block with contacts for measurements;
- a power block with contacts for measurements and digital indication.
UKT devices of both versions allow current measurements in each circuit using a portable measuring instrument. In the second version, current can be measured by closing the measuring circuit of the indicator with a button mounted opposite the corresponding channel.
The UKT current monitoring device is installed inside the ICP.KMG post (Type P01, Type P02, Type 3).
