Description
AZP-P is a protective casing made of thin-sheet galvanized steel with a thickness of at least 0.5 mm, inside which a carbon-polymer working element is centrally placed. The free space is filled with a coke-mineral activator of the KMA.KMG brand.
The standard cable lead length is 2 meters.
The protective casing used for the AZP-P prevents the activator from spilling during storage, ensures uniform distribution of the backfill along the working element, provides reliability during transportation and installation, and reduces the transition resistance to current spreading of the anode grounding system. When installed directly in the soil, the casing quickly dissolves.
For convenient installation and handling operations, the anode ground electrode is equipped with a transport handle.
The length of the anode cable is determined according to the Customer’s technical specification.
Advantages of the grounding electrodes
- A special connection cable of the manufacturer’s own production KGN-HL-ECHP-U is used, featuring reinforced insulation and sheath.
- Reduced current spreading resistance due to the improved formula of the proprietary coke-mineral activator KMA.KMG.
Application
The products are used in cathodic protection systems for:
- main pipelines, field pipelines, and other pipeline systems including multi-line pipelines, in all soil types including rocky, arid, desert, and permafrost soils;
- complex communication systems of compressor stations, gas distribution stations, oil pumping stations, thermal power plants, and other industrial facilities;
- technological storage tanks for any purpose;
- port and berth facilities, offshore platforms, and other hydraulic engineering structures.
