Description
At our company, you can purchase GAZ-FK deep ferrosilicon anode grounders, which belong to the category of devices designed to provide reliable anode grounding in conditions where the surface soil layers have low electrical conductivity or where access to the ground is limited due to dense construction or other obstacles.
GAZ-FK is secured in a special bandage that ensures firm attachment and allows installation of complete anode grounders into a borehole and immersion to the design depth. The device prevents corrosion and simplifies installation. GAZ-FK deep ferrosilicon anode grounders can be positioned horizontally or vertically without altering operational properties.
The deep grounding installation process involves using specialized drilling equipment to create vertical boreholes or horizontal trenches to a specified depth. Metallic electrodes are installed into these boreholes or trenches to effectively dissipate electrical current into the ground. Proper placement and depth of these electrodes reduce grounding resistance and ensure system electrical safety.
Technical Description
The deep grounder is a block-assembled structure with a high degree of factory readiness, meaning no additional modifications are required and it is ready for immediate installation.
Deep grounding is a method of creating effective electrical grounding using a grounder installed at significant depth underground. It reduces grounding resistance and prevents damage to underground metal structures.
The deep grounder block consists of two sections forming its base. Each section contains two ferrosilicon electrodes connected via a special connection cable. A single connection cable ensures effective current supply.
The sections of the deep grounder block are joined with a looped connection. During transportation, sections remain connected, but during installation they are aligned coaxially. This approach optimizes installation and ensures proper positioning for anode grounding.
This block design offers several advantages: high grounding efficiency reducing corrosion, ease of installation, and reliability in operation.
Two connection cables are brought to the surface from the borehole to connect the deep grounder block to the electrical system, providing current supply and system integration.
A feature of the deep grounder block design is their connection in a garland to increase current capacity and reduce transition resistance, important for effective grounding.
The allowable number of deep grounder blocks per borehole is 4, creating optimal conditions for reliable anode grounding.
Connecting blocks in a garland efficiently uses borehole space and maximizes system current capacity, useful where ground access is limited or high grounding efficiency is required.
A special gas outlet tube is used for venting gases generated during operation of GAZ-FK deep ferrosilicon anode grounders. Along with main cables, it is brought to the surface.
The gas outlet tube is perforated along the garland length for uniform gas distribution and timely surface venting, preventing bubble formation.
Supplies are made to specific orders. One tube is allocated per garland, which is installed in a single borehole. The tube length is sufficient for borehole immersion.
The space around the anode is filled with coxo-mineral activator to reduce current spread resistance, accelerating electrode dissolution efficiency.
The coxo-mineral activator improves grounding efficiency and reduces grounder resistance, consisting of a mixture of crushed coke and mineral binder, such as clay or cement.
The anode grounding system for GAZ-FK deep ferrosilicon grounders is selected based on cathodic protection project requirements, considering soil resistivity, site conditions, and technical-economic parameters.
The number of blocks per borehole, their quantity, and spacing are determined according to project 327.T-AZ, specifying block placement based on soil resistivity and required protection level.
