Description
We offer ferrosilicon anode grounders for deep grounding of the GAZ.KMG.F type. This is a block-assembled structure with a high degree of factory readiness, secured in a bandage, which facilitates installation into a borehole at the project-specified depth.
Application Area
The GAZ.KMG.F type ferrosilicon deep anode grounders available from us provide effective cathodic protection against corrosion, based on anodic and cathodic reactions, for main pipelines, port and dock hydraulic structures, as well as oilfield and linear gas distribution stations.
They consist of a ferrosilicon metal rod inserted into the ground at a specified depth near the protected object. The grounder is connected to a cathodic station, forming an electrical circuit through soil or water. The ferrosilicon anode becomes passive, maintaining the required potential at a relatively low level and significantly reducing the corrosion rate.
The casing used for GAZ.KMG.F ferrosilicon deep anode grounders prevents the activator from spilling during storage and ensures even distribution of the fill along the working element.
It does not obstruct the distribution of anode current from the working electrode surface and dissolves quickly in soil. For convenience, the GAZ.KMG.F anode grounders are equipped with a cotton transport handle.
To remove gases generated during operation of the working electrodes, a special gas outlet tube is used. It is chemically resistant to anode solutions and operational conditions such as groundwater, brines, or weak acid and alkali solutions.
The permissible number of anode grounders in a column, as well as the length of cables and gas outlet tubes, is determined according to the customer’s technical specification (questionnaire).
GAZ.KMG products are manufactured in accordance with regulatory documentation:
- OTT 29.100.99-KTN161-12;
- RD-91.020.00KTN-170-17;
- GOST R 51164.
They are produced in climate version “O” (general climate version), corresponding to placement category 5 according to GOST 15150. The nominal operating temperature is from -20°C to +60°C. GAZ and PAZ are suitable for operation in seawater, produced in general climate version “B,” and correspond to placement category 5 per GOST 15150. The operating temperature range for these units is -4°C to +60°C.
They are manufactured in climate version O (general climate), placement category 5 per GOST 15150, with a temperature range from -20°C to +60°C. GAZ and PAZ for use in seawater are produced in climate version B (universal), placement category 5 per GOST 15150, with a temperature range from -4°C to +60°C.
