UZZ is designed to divert alternating current generated by electromagnetic fields from high-voltage power transmission lines and other high-voltage sources. At the same time, the device does not affect the protective potential created by the pipeline’s electrochemical protection system.
The I&C unit with a DRB is designed to distribute protective current between multiple underground pipelines, providing combined electrochemical protection and preventing mutual potential interference between adjacent structures.
Instrumentation and control posts can be equipped with additional anticorrosion protection system devices that expand their functionality, including an alternating current drainage protection system (UZT).
